The GMDCD1 series outdoor high-voltage AC double insulator isolation switch is a single-phase hook rod no-load operation switch. Used for communication at 50Hz. In overhead lines with rated current of 630a, 1000a or 1250a and rated voltage of 15kv or below, they are mainly used in conjunction with circuit breakers or load switches to provide visible breaks and improve the safety of equipment operation and maintenance. Use a live operating lever for opening and closing operations under no-load conditions.

2、Product Features

1.Base

High strength steel plates treated with high-quality 304 stainless steel and hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion technology ensure reliable operation and anti-corrosion properties; Using square carriage bolts to match the square holes on the base plate for easy installation.

2. Pillar insulator

High strength silicone insulators are used, which have good insulation performance and are lightweight, time-saving, and labor-saving when installed. They also have good hydrophobic properties. The design without climbing distance enables the product to reach level IV pollution level.

Adopting imported high-performance outdoor epoxy resin injection molding, it has the ability to resist corrosion and outdoor UV aging, strong hydrophobicity and insulation performance, process, and creepage distance of 398mm level pollution level IV.

3. Main circuit design

Adopting a symmetrical double static contact design, the product has dual circuit conductivity, while the fastening rotating part is in a non dominant electrical circuit position, ensuring a low temperature rise under normal operating conditions (temperature rise test current is 1:1 times the rated current). The components of the main conductive circuit are treated with silver plating technology, effectively enhancing the conductivity of the isolation switch.

4. Wiring terminals

Made of imported materials by precision casting, with a surface plated with 3um tin and matched with high-quality 304 stainless steel standard parts, suitable for 35-300 ㎡ copper aluminum cables. Unique raw materials and processes can be used to solve the problem of copper aluminum corrosion. The size and spacing of the dual hole design meet the needs of domestic users.

5. Knife switch limit device

It can enhance the stability of the knife switch operation and has two limit modes of 90 or 160. The default factory setting is 160 limit. If 90 limit or no limit is required, it can be adjusted by yourself. Please refer to the product manual for specific instructions. The lever design of the pull ring and rotating locking pin is easy to open and improve the ice breaking ability.
